600 Centre’s new products span three stands at MACH 2008
600 Centre will showcase over 20 products from manufacturers including Toyoda Mitsui-Seiki, Fanuc, Fuji Machine, Colchester-Harrison, Okamoto and Dalian at this years MACH 2008. Come and visit stands 5128, 5130 and 5136 in Hall 5.
Confirming its position as the UK’s fastest growing machine tool distributor of cutting edge technology such as that from Toyoda Mitsui-Seiki, Fanuc, Fuji Machine, Colchester-Harrison, Okamoto and Dalian, 600 Centre will exhibit 22 machines covering turning, turn-milling, milling, grinding and wire EDM at MACH 2008. Presentations on the stand will focus on its application and turnkey capabilities targeted at automotive, aerospace and subcontract sectors.
Split into three adjacent stands covering an area of 400 m2, 600 Centre based in Shepshed, Loughborough, will feature Toyoda Mitsui-Seiki and Fuji under its ‘CNC Solutions’ operational banner, Colchester-Harrison, Fanuc and Okamoto under ‘Production Solutions’ and the Dalian range under ‘Value Solutions’.
Examples of the latest multi-axis machining technologies will be shown with the European launch of Colchester-Harrison’s Storm SV 1100 5X vertical machining centre (VMC) performing five-axis cycles and by the world leading Toyoda Mitsui-Seiki’s FH 630 SX, a high specification horizontal machining centre demonstrating complex four-axis operations.
There will also be the first showing at a UK exhibition of the latest specification Fanuc F-Series VMC and the Toyoda Mitsui-Seiki Vertex VMC.
Turning and turn-milling will provide a wealth of interest for visitors with the first UK showing of a fully automated turn-mill cell from Fuji, and the ‘world launch’ of the totally new, designed and built in the UK, Colchester-Harrison Tornado TT6.
Grinding technology will be represented by two, ‘first’ machine demonstrations at a UK exhibition. The Select-G Universal machine from Toyoda Machinery has the in-built flexibility to be changed from straight wheel head approach to 30o angle approach and representing the latest Okamoto development, is the new look ACC 64CAI fully automatic surface grinding machine.
In addition, the highly successful wire EDM operation of 600 Centre will be represented by the latest ‘ultra-modern’ design Fanuc Alpha D-Series wire EDM unveiled at the EMO Hannover show in September.
The 600 Centre ‘Value’ range of conventional and CNC lathes and vertical machining centres, all built to strict 600 Group PLC specifications will also be launched at the show. In total, seven Dalian machines will be under power on the stand with prices starting at just £5,490 for a standard CDS centre lathe. Dalian’s VMCs, all fitted with Fanuc controls, start at £23,500 for the VDL, and £20,450 will secure a good specification CKE, CNC combination lathe.
