Operating Companies

600 Group comprises of a number of manufacturing and distribution businesses, supplying state-of-the-art machine tools, workholding accessories and laser marking systems worldwide. There are two core areas of business activity:

• Laser Marking Division
• Machine Tool Division

Laser Marking Division:  Electrox provides laser marking systems for a huge range of materials and applications, through its operations in the UK and USA and is one of the few truly integrated manufacturers of laser marking systems in the world. End-to-end responsibility is guaranteed for every aspect of the design, development and production of both hardware and software technologies.

Machine Tool Division: Colchester-Harrison houses CNC turning and machining centre products, to give customers the advantage of a broad range of quality CNC machine tools including Tornado CNC turning centres, Alpha CNC combination lathes, Storm vertical machining centres and conventional centre lathes.

Additionally, the Group supplies workholding accessories to other machine tool builders, including manual and power chucks from Pratt Burnerd International, an extensive range of workholding collets from Crawford Collets, together with precision machine tool bearings from Gamet Bearings. 

All products are distributed and supported with comprehensive service and spares arrangements through the Group’s international distribution network in the UK, Europe, North America, South Africa and Australia.
